It’s not a secret that we can get an e*trade bank account outside of United States, and use it as a bank account for an US Paypal account, and get most advanced e-money benefits. The problem is (it’s not really a problem anyway), one bank account can only use for one paypal account.
However, I have an amazing discovery that you can use one E*Trade Securities Account as 3 bank account for 3 paypal account (or only for one, if you want to waste it).
Here is how you do it:
Your First Bank Account:
Financial Institution Name : ETrade Securities LLC
ABA or Routing Code : 056073573
Account Number : XXXXXXXX
It’s the standard one you was told by etrade. After received money from paypal by add a bank account, you will get “Electronic Deposit Credited” or “Electronic Deposit Received“.
Then you go to paypal bank confirm page:
Confirm deposits
Bank account
ETrade Securities, XXXXXXXXXX
Deposit amounts Need help? (2 digits)
$0 .USD (input the amount here)
$0 .USD
Your Second Bank Account:
Financial Institution Name : ETrade Bank
ABA or Routing Code : 256072691
Account Number : XXXXXXXX (same as above)
You see, etrade is a bank as well, they have another routing number. Obvious they use different account number for bank and security, so they can identify incoming deposit by account number.
After you get a deposit from paypal, you will see “Deposit Credited”
Ok, here is the third bank account for you:
Financial Institution Name : Chase Bank
ABA or Routing Code : 021000018
Account Number : 104000000XXXXXXXX (XX is your 8-digit brokerage account number
After you get money from paypal, you will see “Deposit Credited“.
If you amazed why and how this work, because eTrade is a financial instituted and they have bank account at another bank as well, so when you deposit to another bank and use the right account number(belongs to etrade of course) followed by yours, it’s call “FBO”, for benefit of, just means eTrade will forward the money to your bank account later.
